What does “all-inclusive” mean?
All of our packages are all-inclusive, meaning that we don’t limit our hours of coverage AND we don’t limit the number of images we deliver to you! That way, you don’t have to worry about paying extra for any digital files or hours of coverage!
How do you prepare for a wedding day?
We believe in customizing every wedding experience for each of our clients. We throw out the cookie cutter and think of each wedding as a unique opportunity to capture a true love story. Every love story is different, so every wedding is different. We get to know our couples so that we can best tell their story. Every client who books a photography or videography package with us receives a free engagement session so that we can get to know each other and be old friends by the time the wedding day approaches. We create a unique, thoughtful shot list that’s inspired by the couple’s relationship as well as checks off all of their photo and video must haves.
Does one of you photograph the wedding while the other does video? How does that work?
Our team is comprised of 3 team members on days that we capture both photography and videography. None of our team members are “second shooters.” We are all equal parts of a well-oiled machine and know the other’s steps before they take them, so we never have to worry about missing a moment! Steven or Chelsea act as director, but we all collectively share the same vision for the day.
When will our wedding photos and videos be delivered after the wedding?
The delivery deadline for all the digital products (photos and videos) is 60 days after the wedding, but we are usually able to deliver them early.
Do we get all of the edited photos?
Yes. All of the images you receive are hand-edited by Chelsea. We do all of our own editing and color grading. We have complete control over the creative process, unlike many other photographers and videographers who send off their RAW files to editors before delivering the images or video to their clients.
Do you include drone footage from every wedding?
Drone footage is included at no extra cost for all weddings except for those taking place in areas where drones are prohibited. We do not fly the drone during the ceremony or at other times when it may be a distraction. Most drone footage is completed before the guests arrive.
What’s it like to be business partners with your spouse?
It’s fun, most of the time. :)
This is our most common frequently asked question, and for a while that puzzled me. Steven and I started out as best friends, and we still live life like two best friends having endless sleepovers. Steven goes through phases of needing his space, and I can be quite bossy without meaning to be - but we do really enjoy working and creating alongside one another. Plus, we are able to be home together with our kids off and on during the week, so that’s a huge bonus, and we make sure to take off one weekend per month to spend with our children. Balance is really important to us, though as workaholics we are still striving to achieve it!
